# WiFi vs Net Optimizer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Net Optimizer at 70% against WiFi's 9%. Net Optimizer also leads on rating (4.6 vs 2.1) and ratings volume (3.1K vs 39). WiFi's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Net Optimizer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. WiFi asks for nothing beyond the download.

Net Optimizer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Net Optimizer has 3.1K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 9% of WiFi's written reviews are positive against 70% of Net Optimizer's.

WiFi ships an update every 4 days, Net Optimizer every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
