# Microsoft Selfie vs Artleap by Lightricks

The clearest difference is rating: Artleap by Lightricks at 4.7 against Microsoft Selfie's 3.2. Artleap by Lightricks also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (19K vs 386). Microsoft Selfie's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and review sentiment (54% vs 36%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Artleap by Lightricks holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Artleap by Lightricks has 19K ratings behind it against 386, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Microsoft Selfie's written reviews are positive against 36% of Artleap by Lightricks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
