# SusieCakes vs Keepsake

The clearest difference is monetization model: Keepsake at free against SusieCakes's free with in-app purchases. Keepsake also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 81%). SusieCakes's advantage is ratings volume (14K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for SusieCakes against 5.0 for Keepsake. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SusieCakes has 14K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of SusieCakes's written reviews are positive against 100% of Keepsake's.

SusieCakes ships an update every 3 months, Keepsake every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
