# Footpatrol vs Sneakerjagers

The clearest difference is rating: Footpatrol at 4.2 against Sneakerjagers's 2.4. Footpatrol also leads on ratings volume (480 vs 5) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Sneakerjagers's advantage is review sentiment (47% vs 22%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Footpatrol holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Footpatrol has 480 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Footpatrol's written reviews are positive against 47% of Sneakerjagers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Footpatrol ships an update every 3 weeks, Sneakerjagers every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
