# Footpatrol vs LFDY

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LFDY at 96% against Footpatrol's 22%. LFDY also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.2) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Footpatrol's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (480 vs 16). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LFDY holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.2.
