# PROSTART vs Onform

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PROSTART at none against Onform's 11. PROSTART also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.6). Onform's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (8.6K vs 3). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Onform sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. PROSTART asks for nothing beyond the download.

PROSTART holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Onform has 8.6K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PROSTART ships an update every 5 months, Onform every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
