# Skyeng vs Сфера

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Сфера at 100% against Skyeng's 46%. Сфера also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Skyeng's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skyeng sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Сфера sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Сфера holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skyeng has 2K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 46% of Skyeng's written reviews are positive against 100% of Сфера's.

Skyeng ships an update fortnightly, Сфера every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
