# Skyeng vs Oki

The clearest difference is rating: Skyeng at 4.8 against Oki's 4.4. Skyeng also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 387). Oki's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 46%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skyeng sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Oki sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Skyeng holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skyeng has 2K ratings behind it against 387, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Skyeng's written reviews are positive against 64% of Oki's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skyeng ships an update fortnightly, Oki every 5 days. Both last shipped on September 29, 2026.
