# China NCE vs e刻英语

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: China NCE at none against e刻英语's 4. China NCE also leads on review sentiment (92% vs 67%) and ratings volume (219 vs 1). e刻英语's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. e刻英语 sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. China NCE asks for nothing beyond the download.

e刻英语 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: China NCE has 219 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of China NCE's written reviews are positive against 67% of e刻英语's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

China NCE ships an update every 5 weeks, e刻英语 weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
