# Listening Power Intermediate vs Functional Listening

The clearest difference is rating: Listening Power Intermediate at 5.0 against Functional Listening's 3.3. Functional Listening's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 25%) and price ($14.99 vs $19.99). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Listening Power Intermediate costs $19.99 and Functional Listening $14.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Listening Power Intermediate holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 3 respectively.
