# Squash vs Ultimate Disc 3D

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Squash at 100% against Ultimate Disc 3D's 38%. Squash also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). Ultimate Disc 3D's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 15 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ultimate Disc 3D sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Squash asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ultimate Disc 3D holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ultimate Disc 3D has 206K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Squash's written reviews are positive against 38% of Ultimate Disc 3D's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Squash ships an update every 15 months, Ultimate Disc 3D every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
