# Password Manager vs OffMemory

The clearest difference is rating: OffMemory at 5.0 against Password Manager's 4.4. OffMemory also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 8 months). Password Manager's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Password Manager sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and OffMemory sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OffMemory holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Password Manager has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Password Manager ships an update every 8 months, OffMemory every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
