# SwitchMemory vs iUSB Pro

The clearest difference is rating: iUSB Pro at 2.6 against SwitchMemory's 1.0. iUSB Pro also leads on ratings volume (1.1K vs 1). SwitchMemory's advantage is review sentiment (31% vs 14%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iUSB Pro holds the better App Store score, 2.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iUSB Pro has 1.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of SwitchMemory's written reviews are positive against 14% of iUSB Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SwitchMemory ships an update every 5 months, iUSB Pro every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
