# Lingua2 vs MyNote

The clearest difference is ads: Lingua2 at none against MyNote's shown. Lingua2 also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.6). MyNote's advantage is ratings volume (54 vs 1) and review sentiment (80% vs 67%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lingua2 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyNote has 54 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Lingua2's written reviews are positive against 80% of MyNote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
