# Lingua2 vs Mini Notes

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Lingua2 at none against Mini Notes's 3. Lingua2 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 26.0). Mini Notes's advantage is ratings volume (75 vs 1) and review sentiment (81% vs 67%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mini Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Lingua2 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lingua2 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mini Notes has 75 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Lingua2's written reviews are positive against 81% of Mini Notes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
