# Ultimate Scoreboard vs Scoreboard Basket

The clearest difference is rating: Ultimate Scoreboard at 4.7 against Scoreboard Basket's 3.8. Ultimate Scoreboard also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (385 vs 13). Scoreboard Basket's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ultimate Scoreboard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Scoreboard Basket sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ultimate Scoreboard holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ultimate Scoreboard has 385 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Ultimate Scoreboard's written reviews are positive against 80% of Scoreboard Basket's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
