# Rainbow Indic Keyboard vs Next Keyboard

The clearest difference is rating: Rainbow Indic Keyboard at 5.0 against Next Keyboard's 4.5. Rainbow Indic Keyboard also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). Next Keyboard's advantage is review sentiment (74% vs 62%) and ratings volume (35 vs 7). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Next Keyboard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Rainbow Indic Keyboard asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rainbow Indic Keyboard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Next Keyboard has 35 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Rainbow Indic Keyboard's written reviews are positive against 74% of Next Keyboard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
