# homeOn vs Vhomenex

The clearest difference is update cadence: homeOn at weekly against Vhomenex's fortnightly. homeOn also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Vhomenex's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for homeOn against 5.0 for Vhomenex. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vhomenex has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

homeOn ships an update weekly, Vhomenex fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
