# iCity · 我的日记 vs 信息查询助手

The clearest difference is monetization model: 信息查询助手 at free with in-app purchases against iCity · 我的日记's subscription. 信息查询助手 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). iCity · 我的日记's advantage is review sentiment (85% vs 50%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iCity · 我的日记 sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and 信息查询助手 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

信息查询助手 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iCity · 我的日记 has 1.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of iCity · 我的日记's written reviews are positive against 50% of 信息查询助手's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iCity · 我的日记 ships an update monthly, 信息查询助手 every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
