# iCity · 我的日记 vs 独白

The clearest difference is monetization model: 独白 at freemium against iCity · 我的日记's subscription. 独白 also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). iCity · 我的日记's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iCity · 我的日记 sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and 独白 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

独白 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iCity · 我的日记 has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

iCity · 我的日记 ships an update monthly, 独白 every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
