# iCity · 我的日记 vs TimeTracker

The clearest difference is monetization model: TimeTracker at free against iCity · 我的日记's subscription. TimeTracker also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). iCity · 我的日记's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 5). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iCity · 我的日记 sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and TimeTracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iCity · 我的日记 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iCity · 我的日记 has 1.1K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of iCity · 我的日记's written reviews are positive against 88% of TimeTracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iCity · 我的日记 ships an update monthly, TimeTracker every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
