# insta vs Lusid

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lusid at every 3 days against insta's every 2 weeks. Lusid also leads on rating (4.2 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). insta's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lusid holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lusid has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of insta's written reviews are positive against 80% of Lusid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

insta ships an update every 2 weeks, Lusid every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
