# Altimeter vs Compass Toolkit

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Compass Toolkit at 18.0 against Altimeter's 26.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Altimeter sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year and Compass Toolkit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
