# JetDrive Go vs U8

The clearest difference is rating: JetDrive Go at 4.7 against U8's 4.1. JetDrive Go also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). U8's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 39%). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. U8 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. JetDrive Go asks for nothing beyond the download.

JetDrive Go holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JetDrive Go has 819 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of JetDrive Go's written reviews are positive against 64% of U8's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

JetDrive Go ships an update every 2 months, U8 every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
