# SgsEye vs BitVision

The clearest difference is rating: BitVision at 4.6 against SgsEye's 2.1. BitVision also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 39) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). SgsEye's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BitVision holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BitVision has 1.5K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 15% of SgsEye's written reviews are positive against 19% of BitVision's.

SgsEye ships an update every 3 months, BitVision monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
