# Magnifier XXL vs Tickly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tickly at every 2 months against Magnifier XXL's every 50 months. Magnifier XXL's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magnifier XXL sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tickly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magnifier XXL ships an update every 50 months, Tickly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
