# Read Scripture vs Rise Daily

The clearest difference is update cadence: Rise Daily at every 3 days against Read Scripture's every 5 weeks. Rise Daily also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Read Scripture's advantage is ratings volume (1.8K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rise Daily holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Read Scripture has 1.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Read Scripture ships an update every 5 weeks, Rise Daily every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
