# Splash vs Dunk Hit

The clearest difference is ads: Splash at none against Dunk Hit's shown. Splash also leads on review sentiment (73% vs 57%) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 13.0). Dunk Hit's advantage is ratings volume (157K vs 1.8K) and rating (4.6 vs 4.4). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Splash sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dunk Hit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dunk Hit holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dunk Hit has 157K ratings behind it against 1.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Splash's written reviews are positive against 57% of Dunk Hit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
