# GoodTask vs Coming Next

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Coming Next at none against GoodTask's 5. Coming Next also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 73%). GoodTask's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (2K vs 2). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoodTask sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Coming Next asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for GoodTask against 4.5 for Coming Next. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoodTask has 2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of GoodTask's written reviews are positive against 100% of Coming Next's.

GoodTask ships an update every 4 days, Coming Next every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
