# GoodTask vs To do List

The clearest difference is ads: GoodTask at none against To do List's shown. GoodTask also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 2) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). To do List's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoodTask sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and To do List sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

To do List holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoodTask has 2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GoodTask ships an update every 4 days, To do List fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
