# GoodTask vs Task Flow

The clearest difference is update cadence: GoodTask at every 4 days against Task Flow's every 3 weeks. GoodTask also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 337). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoodTask sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year and Task Flow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for GoodTask against 4.6 for Task Flow. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoodTask has 2K ratings behind it against 337, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of GoodTask's written reviews are positive against 76% of Task Flow's.

GoodTask ships an update every 4 days, Task Flow every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
