# GoodTask vs Group Task Manager

The clearest difference is rating: GoodTask at 4.6 against Group Task Manager's 1.0. GoodTask also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks). Group Task Manager's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoodTask sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Group Task Manager asks for nothing beyond the download.

GoodTask holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoodTask has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GoodTask ships an update every 4 days, Group Task Manager every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
