# GoodTask vs Plaaan

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GoodTask at 73% against Plaaan's 0%. GoodTask also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 1) and update cadence (every 4 days vs weekly). Plaaan's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GoodTask sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Plaaan asks for nothing beyond the download.

Plaaan holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoodTask has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of GoodTask's written reviews are positive against 0% of Plaaan's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GoodTask ships an update every 4 days, Plaaan weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
