# Calculator vs T

The clearest difference is rating: T at 5.0 against Calculator's 4.0. T also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 15 months). Calculator's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 43%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calculator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. T asks for nothing beyond the download.

T holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Calculator's written reviews are positive against 43% of T's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Calculator ships an update every 15 months, T weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
