# The Muse vs myLU

The clearest difference is rating: The Muse at 3.0 against myLU's 2.3. The Muse also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.0). myLU's advantage is ratings volume (212 vs 2) and review sentiment (13% vs 0%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Muse holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: myLU has 212 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of The Muse's written reviews are positive against 13% of myLU's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
