# Piano Chords Master vs MsyChords

The clearest difference is rating: Piano Chords Master at 4.5 against MsyChords's 4.0. Piano Chords Master also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (66 vs 3). MsyChords's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Piano Chords Master sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and MsyChords sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Piano Chords Master holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Piano Chords Master has 66 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Piano Chords Master's written reviews are positive against 75% of MsyChords's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Piano Chords Master ships an update every 6 weeks, MsyChords every 11 months. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
