# AUB Mobile vs Open

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AUB Mobile at 100% against Open's 21%. AUB Mobile also leads on rating (3.3 vs 2.6) and iOS requirement (10.1 vs 15.0). Open's advantage is ratings volume (84 vs 3) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AUB Mobile holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Open has 84 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of AUB Mobile's written reviews are positive against 21% of Open's.

AUB Mobile ships an update every 7 months, Open every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
