# Teleporte vs Yale Access

The clearest difference is rating: Yale Access at 4.9 against Teleporte's 4.0. Yale Access also leads on ratings volume (77K vs 8). Teleporte's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Yale Access holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yale Access has 77K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Teleporte's written reviews are positive against 41% of Yale Access's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Teleporte ships an update every 3 weeks, Yale Access fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
