# LEDambient® CONNECT vs Smart LED Light Remote Control

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LEDambient® CONNECT at none against Smart LED Light Remote Control's 9. LEDambient® CONNECT also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). Smart LED Light Remote Control's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (398 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart LED Light Remote Control sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. LEDambient® CONNECT asks for nothing beyond the download.

Smart LED Light Remote Control holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart LED Light Remote Control has 398 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of LEDambient® CONNECT's written reviews are positive against 12% of Smart LED Light Remote Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
