# Countdown Timer vs Time’s Up!

The clearest difference is monetization model: Time’s Up! at free with in-app purchases against Countdown Timer's subscription. Time’s Up! also leads on review sentiment (84% vs 76%). Countdown Timer's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.4). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Timer sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Time’s Up! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
