# RoutineFactory vs Thruday

The clearest difference is rating: Thruday at 4.6 against RoutineFactory's 4.0. Thruday also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (72 vs 4). RoutineFactory's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 72%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RoutineFactory sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Thruday sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Thruday holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Thruday has 72 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of RoutineFactory's written reviews are positive against 72% of Thruday's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RoutineFactory ships an update every 4 months, Thruday every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 13, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
