# Stream_Vision vs IR explorer

The clearest difference is rating: Stream_Vision at 3.9 against IR explorer's 3.1. Stream_Vision also leads on ratings volume (392 vs 38). IR explorer's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (27% vs 9%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stream_Vision holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stream_Vision has 392 ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 9% of Stream_Vision's written reviews are positive against 27% of IR explorer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Stream_Vision ships an update every 2 months, IR explorer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
