# iUSB Pro vs Mcdodo

The clearest difference is ratings volume: iUSB Pro at 1.1K against Mcdodo's 7. iUSB Pro also leads on review sentiment (14% vs 0%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.5). Mcdodo's advantage is rating (2.9 vs 2.6) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Mcdodo holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iUSB Pro has 1.1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of iUSB Pro's written reviews are positive against 0% of Mcdodo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iUSB Pro ships an update every 3 months, Mcdodo every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 1, 2026.
