# Grades vs Buzz Continuum™

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Buzz Continuum™ at none against Grades's 7. Buzz Continuum™ also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). Grades's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 11). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grades sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Buzz Continuum™ asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Grades against 5.0 for Buzz Continuum™. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grades has 13K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of Grades's written reviews are positive against 100% of Buzz Continuum™'s.

Grades ships an update every 2 weeks, Buzz Continuum™ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
