# Grades vs PlanIt Homework App

The clearest difference is rating: Grades at 4.9 against PlanIt Homework App's 3.8. Grades also leads on ratings volume (13K vs 10). PlanIt Homework App's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and review sentiment (80% vs 70%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grades sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. PlanIt Homework App asks for nothing beyond the download.

Grades holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grades has 13K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Grades's written reviews are positive against 80% of PlanIt Homework App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
