# Grades vs Strongline Pro

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Strongline Pro at none against Grades's 7. Strongline Pro also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). Grades's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grades sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Strongline Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Grades against 5.0 for Strongline Pro. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grades has 13K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of Grades's written reviews are positive against 100% of Strongline Pro's.

Grades ships an update every 2 weeks, Strongline Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
