# Grades vs Mersive Connect

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Mersive Connect at none against Grades's 7. Mersive Connect also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Grades's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Grades sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Mersive Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Grades against 5.0 for Mersive Connect. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grades has 13K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of Grades's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mersive Connect's.

Grades ships an update every 2 weeks, Mersive Connect every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
