# Genea Mobile Access vs OCS Smart

The clearest difference is rating: OCS Smart at 4.0 against Genea Mobile Access's 2.7. Genea Mobile Access's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (36% vs 14%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

OCS Smart holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Genea Mobile Access has 29 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Genea Mobile Access's written reviews are positive against 14% of OCS Smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Genea Mobile Access ships an update every 3 weeks, OCS Smart every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
