# BackLog vs MemoLinker

The clearest difference is update cadence: MemoLinker at every 10 days against BackLog's every 5 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BackLog sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.49 per month and MemoLinker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BackLog ships an update every 5 months, MemoLinker every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
