# ResQ Club vs NextPlate

The clearest difference is rating: ResQ Club at 4.7 against NextPlate's 3.7. NextPlate's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ResQ Club holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 91 and 87 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of ResQ Club's written reviews are positive against 44% of NextPlate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ResQ Club ships an update every 3 weeks, NextPlate every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
